About 30 years ago, a badminton club started up in Shawlands Kirk. This grew out of what was then called "The Young Womens' Group" and the club now meets every Tuesday morning from 9:30am till 12:00pm.
Although present members are all female, the club is open to anyone who has an interest in playing badminton. Previous experience would be useful but not essential. If you are free on a Tuesday morning, come along and see for yourself.
Badminton club will re-start on Tuesday 6th September 2011. |
