Shawlands Kirk is the informal name for Shawlands Church of Scotland. We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland and part of the
Presbytery of Glasgow.
We are located at Shawlands Cross, on the junction of Pollokshaws Road, Kilmarnock Road and Moss-side Road .... or as many people say, "just across the road from the Granary Pub!"
As a 'parish church', we are here to help meet the spiritual needs of all who live and work within our parish area. This means that we are available to support you throughout life including such major events as births, marriages and deaths. You do not have to attend church to be included in our circle of care and concern.
Our minister, Reverend Stephen A Blakey, is also chaplain to our two local schools, Shawlands Primary School and Shawlands Academy. |
