Prayer is the often called the 'power house of the church'.
Prayer Ministry
At the end of our Sunday Morning Service, we offer the opportunity for personal prayer from members of the Prayer Ministry Group. Those wishing to receive prayer for physical healing, for worries and concerns, or for encouragement and a blessing, can go to the Chapel at the end of the service.
Praying Together
Praying is perhaps the most important activity for Christians, and united prayer is a powerful tool. There are three ways to become involved in praying along with other members of Shawlands Kirk:
- Wednesday Morning Prayer Meeting from 10.00am - 10.20am in the Chapel
- Sunday Morning Prayer Time from 10.30am - 10.45am in the Family Room
Email Prayer Team - a weekly reminder of items for prayer.
Everyone is encouraged to become more involved in the important activity. |
